Mary acted as Data Wrangler for the entire main unit shoot of Ridley Scott’s “Prometheus”, based predominantly at Pinewood Studios, but also including location work in Jordan and Iceland. This was alongside the Red Camera Data Supervisor, Jeroen Hendriks.

From day-to-day her duties involved immediate downloading, backing-up and quality checking of rushes from four 3D rigs using Red Epics, and additional 2D rigs. Using RedCineX software, this included performing basic framing and grading to the demands of the DOP, and setting convergence on all footage under guidance from the Stereographer.

Mary was responsible for collecting exposed media from each camera, and ensuring 1^st and 2^nd ACs had sufficient supplies to reload when required. This involved close co-operation with the entire camera department, and the keeping of detailed logs to ensure efficient circulation of media between myself, the cameras and the on-site data lab. It also entailed constant communication with both the data lab and editorial department, to resolve any queries and respond to feedback received at dailies.

Furthermore, Mary was responsible for receiving sound data and rig metadata at the end of each day, downloading and backing this up, and then sending this to the data lab, along with all rushes and their related RMD files, and camera sheets. At times, her duties also extended to rendering out Quicktime files for the VFX and video playback departments.

Gambit - Remake of the 1960's Michael Caine caper movie written by the Coen Bros, starring Colin Firth and Cameron Diaz. Using Truelight On Set colour management of Arri Alexa RAW with DOP Florian Ballhaus.

The Wall - On going coverage of Roger Waters' pan European tour of the Pink Floyd classic for theatrical exhibition. Camera Data Supervisor Mustafa Tybekhan in overall charge of project shooting 10 x RED MX.
